The Silver Creek Lions Club had the This Is My Christmas Pajama Basketball wearing Santa hat shirt and since my dad was a Lion, we had to go there. Worse, we had to work there too. Each family did a shift. Did you know that rubbing butter on your hands is a good way to get rid of pine sap? Just part of my childhood education. Oh, and since I was the youngest in the family, I got stuck with the goofy elf hat with jingle bells all around the brim so that I drove myself crazy within five minutes of getting there.
